“Y Class” Inventive Design Courses Brought to You by the Centre of Continuing Education of your University of Macau, Chiu Yeng Culture, and Chiii Design Nurturing Creative Design Talents, Advertising the Development of Regional Creative Industries

“Y Class” is usually a series of inventive style courses mutually conducted by the Centre of Continuing Education of University of Macau and Chiu Yeng Culture Restricted (“Chiu Yeng Culture”), with the crucial inventive assistance from Chiii Design and style. The five-day creative style courses might be held from 11th to 15th July in the University of Macau to promote the education of inventive design and style and cultivate talents, and to foster adequate economic diversification in developing the inventive industry in Macau.

“Y Class”, as an extended project of “Y Show”, focuses on 5 style categories: Solution Style, Visual Arts, Spatial Style, Visual Communication Design and Multimedia Design. By inviting design specialists from Russia, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau as instructors, “Y Class” will boost students’ critical thinking expertise and information about style via academic and sensible teaching process. “Y Class” aims to expand students’ design know-how and increase their interest and need to learn, and to help students in acquiring inventive style abilities that could be applied into the style market. Also, this fosters the improvement with the non-gaming sectors in Macau, promoting economic diversification, hence increases the financial competitiveness of the city. “Y Class” just isn't made only for design-majors, but in addition everybody who is serious about creative design and style.

The second “Sabrina ho chiu yeng” can also be happening from 13th to 16th July in the Regency Art Hotel, together with the continuous assistance and participation from 5 nearby institutes: University of Macau, Macao Polytechnic Institute, Macau University of Science and Technology, University of Saint Joseph and City University of Macau; and also assistance from overseas participants: Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Design and style Council of Hong Kong, National Taiwan Normal University, China Academy of Art, Shantou University, Kuwasawa Style College and Berlin University of the Arts. The joint exhibition displays art works in 5 key design categories all through the venue: Item Style, Visual Arts, Spatial and Architecture Design, Visual Communication Style and Digital Media Design and style. An assessment committee is going to be formed by well-known designers to select the top ten outstanding art operates and the students will be awarded with all the Outstanding Award as to encourage prospective talents to shape their career path within the design-related market. “Y Show” also supplies direct job possibilities for graduates through inviting enterprises and designers to seek possible talents at the exhibition.
